Green Scene Earth Day Festival - Saturday, April 19th, noon to 5pm: Head up north to North Side Prep for this second annual fest, featuring vendors, informational booths, hands-on activities and kids’ crafts that highlight all the different aspects of leading an environmentally friendly lifestyle, such as organic food, fair-trade products, green energy sources, and recycling and conservation programs.
Sell used books, movies and music at Half Price Books and gently used brand name clothing and accessories for young adults at Plato's Closet. Also, bring old computers, cell phones and ink cartridges to recycle.
